Shackleton Centenary Expedition

The Last 5 October 05 2008

Last 5 in Wales.JPG

Saturday 04 October 06:30 and after 3000 applicants to win the chance to do the last 97 with us have been whittled down to the last 5, here we are at HMS Indefatigable, North Wales. 14 hours of trekking in the driving rain and wind meant that we were able to see how everyone could cope with pretty awful weather conditions.

Dan, Andy, Janice, Matt and Nicola were all excellent - making a difficult job even harder - working out who could come with us. We will have the news anouncement shortly, so watch this space, but in the meantime, thanks to everyone that took part.

A massive thank you goes out to everyone at HMS Indefatigable, including Steve and Simon, our guides around the windswept Welsh hills.
