Shackleton Centenary Expedition

Leaving Party October 10 2008

Matrix Group.jpg

Yesterday evening Matrix were kind enough to hold a leaving party for all of us at their HQ on Vine Street, just off Regent Street in Central London. Henry Worsley, Will Gow and Henry Adams are going to be heading off down to Chile in a couple of weeks time before heading down to Antarctica itself, final preparations are being undertaken as we speak.

After that we then had a team dinner in Bentleys, just opposite Matrix. One of the perks of having to train for an Antarctic expedition is the need to eat as much as possible in the name of necessity rather than gluttony - something Will and Henry Adams have certainly taken up with gusto!

This Thursday we will be having another leaving party for friends and family at the same venue - Matrix have been great helping us out with this, and their HQ with a bar on the top floor was very much appreciated.
